Horse Fun for Kids & Families
Rock Springs Guest Ranch is a wonderful place for kids to meet horses. Little ones can spend a morning with Reba, young riders can join our Day Camp, and birthday kids can celebrate with a Pony Party at the Main Barn. Something for every age, from toddlers to teens.
Reba's Round-Up
A morning made for our littlest cowboys and cowgirls. Reba, our child-loving horse, hosts crafts, horse lessons, games, pony rides and story time. Each month brings a new theme.
Ages: All ages welcome. Length: Up to 2 hours.
Price: $15.99 per child. Adults register at no charge.
Does not include: State park admission (paid at the entrance gate).
Rockin' Riders' Day Camp
Hands-on days at a working riding barn. Campers learn horse safety, grooming and tacking up, horse care and behavior, and ride with our caring instructors in small groups.
Ages: 6 to 15. Options: 3-day and 5-day camps, 9:00 am to 2:00 pm, in March, June to August, November and December.
Price: From $425 per camper. Early drop-off and late pick-up are $25 per day.
Pony Parties
A birthday rodeo to remember. Parties include a three-hour reception at the Main Barn Pavilion with decorations, barn-themed games, pony rides and paint-a-pony with a take-home canvas.
Ages: 2 and up. Guests: Up to 40.
Price: $400 for up to 10 guests, $800 for up to 20, $1,200 for up to 30, $1,600 for up to 40. Adults register at no charge.
Bring your own: Cake, food and drinks. Our event coordinator will reach out after you book.
